Too bad the lower coupons expired, otherwise it would have been $12.49 :( Oh well, still a good deal.

I bought that mouse a few weeks ago to replace the piece of trash that came with my computer. It's the best mouse!

1. Great tracking, never skips
2. long cord (comes in handy)
3. NO side buttons to get in the way like the Explorer and the Intellimouse.

Bottom line : Get the "Wheel Mouse Optical"

I was lucky and got this with the $10 off $15 coupon. I also noticed that BestBuy B&M sells it for $19 but is almost always out of stock.

Hey those side button rule. :) Browsing the web is such a breeze now, it's almost second nature using them. They never "get in the way" and I never have problems accidently pressing them or anything. Just as I could never go without having a wheel on the mouse, I couldn't go without those button either. BTW, you could always config the buttons to do nothing if they bother you, but trust me, use them for a week and you'll be hooked.

Is this the mouse that has no tracking ball in it? My son got one and I was quite impressed with it. But can't remember what type it was.

what's wrong with the side buttons? You can always deactivate them and they keep me busy

I sure ain't dissin' side buttons, but $22 for a incredible mouse, extra buttons or not, is a good deal. BTW, 2 buttons+wheel has me satified. All I need is Button 1 for primary fire, 2 for secondary (or Zoom in Q3), and wheel for weapon change. The rest of the commands can be done on the keyboard (Q,E,R, and F are all within comfortable reach of the WADS cluster). Could I find a use for another button? Yup. But, like I said, $22....

This mouse is GREAT! I bought it a while back for $16 including shipping from buy.com. That was before I knew about gotapex, or I would have posted it.

Yes, this is the mose w/o a ball inside. It uses an LED (Light Emitting Diode) that scans the surface of your desk about 1500 per second. It's great technology that will last because less moving parts. Plus, the middle scroll button rules! Not like those Logitech pieces of shit that sound like gars grinding when you scroll.

If you don't have one, BUY ONE!

Actually brewmaster, these are now the ones with 2000dpi.
To see if your model is, look for a sticker that says "33% faster!"
