BigJon and I welcomed our 2nd son.....

Well Yesterday was the day our 3rd child entered the world. We now have 2 sons and a daughter. Our newest son is named Magnus Alan and he weighed in at an impressive 11 lbs even, He is 21 3/4 inches long. He was born at home in a pool of water very peacefully.

I am doing well and feeling pretty good. A little sore but that comes with childbirth. He is already out of Newborn clothes and into 3 month. He is a chunker.

ps..how deep was that pool? I never could figure out those things..do you squat? sit? lay down? Sounds like he had a nice peaceful birth!

Magnus is doing wonderful. He was just checked over. He is eating wonderfully and we get to go with out a check until day 5 which is so nice. He is sleeping so well and really is just overall a wonderful little guy. Thanks for all the kind words. I hope to get some more pics up of him here soon as I get to move around and use the camera and stuff.

Nope no drugs. I was only really in labor for a total of 6 hours. I woke at 4:30 am and was ready to get him out by 9 but he didn't come out until 12:10. But from 9-11 I really wasn't in any pain I was laughing and joking and just kinda hanging out. It really was a wonderful birth and I am so glad I finally got to do it my way, especially since this is my last baby. Well off to feed and hold this wonderful little guy. I just can't get enough of him.

Congratulations on the natural birth of such a big baby! Mrs. Kevster didn't have such good luck with little Annarchy being her first and just shy of 10lbs. I'm jealous you were able to do it at home - we're still paying off the bills for Mrs. Kevster's C-section and little Annarchy's stay at the Neo-NICU.
