What new systems did you buy?

All this talk about PS3 VS XBOX 360 VS Wii. Im curious what you people did and why.

I bought a used broken xbox 360 but i'm getting it fixed thanks to the extended warranty. Score! and I got a wii and umm tweaked it to be a little more pocket book friendly.

What systems do you have and do you like them?

I enjoy both of my systems although much better with lots of people to play with.

I haven't purchased any of them yet. I would have purchased a Wii a while back but couldn't find one.

I will likely end up with a PS3 or a XBox 360 before long but haven't decided which one. If the PS3 price cuts are more than rumors that will probably be the one I decide on.

I got a Wii. Always have been a fan of Mario, Zelda, and Metroid...although the new Prime series have been a bit tough to get into.

If I had the money, I'd buy a PS3...but only the 60GB version before it runs out.

I have a 360. Definitely enjoy it. I really like PC games the most but having to upkeep your computer to have the latest and greatest is a hassle and a strain on your wallet.

I got the Wii and it's fun but the number of quality titles is low. The PS3 was too expensive. I play DS more than anything.

Me too. Just got Worms Open Warfare 2.

I do plan to get a PS3 or 360 when GTA comes out though.

I play the PS3 more now because of Madden, but still jump online every now and again with Gears of War on the 360, not as much because I'm tired of the cheaters on XBOX Live.

I want Carnival Games for the Wii, but needs and wants right?:rolleyes:

I haven't taken the plunge on next gen consoles yet. I'm leaning towards a 360 and a Wii.

In the meantime, my old Xbox gets the most play but I've amassed a nice collection of the old school systems that get broke out every so often. I've got the 2600, 5200, Intellivision, ColecoVision, Genesis, Dreamcast, Nintendo, and N64.

PC is it for me..well, i keep my ps2 for drunken guitar hero...ad amazingly, i get better scores on free bird when i'm drunk...

360 for me...though I used to do the PC thing, I'm tired of upgrading it just for the games. Without the games my computers would last a lot longer so in the end, going console for games saves $$. The negative is that FPS have crappy adapters so I can use the keyboard/mouse combo.

But I may get a PS3 when that gets a wireless keyboard/mouse.

I don't play Madden 08 as much as I thought I would. But I did get a chance to finally finish Resistance FOM.

I have the 360 but not the PS3 or the Wii. I play a lot of PC games and some of the older systems as well.

I want to get the Wii but dont want to spend the money on it right now because I dont have much gaming time right now.

There is nothing about the PS3 that interests me. I mean, if I got one for free, that would be awesome so I could play the new Gran Turismo when its released!
