Probably about as close as I'll ever get to playing Halo 3 (since I don't have an XBox 360 :D )

Man, I am just not feeling the Halo thing. I tried to get into it on the original Xbox, and the single player was pretty fun...but then it just seemed to become more of the same to me. Maybe it's because I'm a PC FPS snob. Go keyboard and mouse! :D

I agree that halo kind of got repetitive to me. Gears of war didnt seem as repetitive but maybe cause it was a fresh story and they added some different challenges and not all of them were shoot the bad guy.
I want to play it but i dont think it is going to be my game of the year. I think mario smash for the wii will be...

I can wait. First person shooters on the XBox just aren't as good as the PC. I really like co-op games though. So, if I can find some people to play through Halo 3 with me that'll be awesome. Not sure if it will justify the price, but we'll see.

For those who picked up the Limited Edition version, make sure to give the box a little shake when you pick it up. Apparently the nub that holds the disc in place is poorly designed, and don't hold the disc securely.

Apparently some people have indeed gotten their copies early (which made rumors fly that Microsoft would ban XBox Live accounts of people who were playing Halo 3 early). Luckily those rumors were incorrect.

They are reporting problems with scratched discs- snough to go public and offer replacements.

Microsoft has started a disc replacement service for gamers complaining of scratched copies of a limited edition version of the game.

But gamers have complained it will take two weeks for replacement copies to arrive.

Its pretty fun. I like co=op with 4 people on legendary. Thats a crazy constant action fight and you are yelling and running and its a blast. Its too bad you need 2 xboxes. I wish you could do 4 player at once. That would rock!
