Ah, back home from college and all i want to do is relax. So I goto the movie theater where I used to work to see if I could see the thursday night preview and what do i see? chaos. one of the films broke down and they were having a though time. one of the employees I worked with saw me and asked me to take a look at it. I fixed it as soon as they had shown it to me. This made me happy because A. It got me on their good side, B. It made me feel special (not special schoolbus "special"), and C. I was able to watch Cast Away tonight (thursday).

This is a very interesting Film. Not your normal everyday film though. And there wasn't much music during the film, so I don't know how that will handle with a crowded audience. I would definitly recommend seeing this movie. but because of how little music there is I would recommend holding off on seeing it during opening weekend to avoid the crowds.

Ok, time for bed now. laters

Looks like it might be cool. Tom Hanks appears to get really skinny and unshaven. Leave it to Tom to make years of smack addiction work for him... I guess thats why he always wins around oscar time!

oh ya, if any of you are helen hunt fans, you'll like the fact that she gets soaked in a white tshirt.

Well I went to see it last night, and I really dont know what to make of it. I found it both interesting and engaging, but at the same time illogical, annoying, and frustrating. The major problem in my estimation is that the film gets extremely slow at times. I mean EXTREMELY slow. I have seen snails move faster.

So as to not destroy it for anyone else, I will refrain from stating what actually occurs. But if you know anything about surviving in the wild, you will feel like hitting Tom Hanks character and he probably would never have really survived.

Personally, I think the movie could have been much better and could have actually have had a conclusion, which i think it actually lacked. Then again, there was enough to it to actually keep me from walking out of the theater which I have done many times before. Just my opinion though. What does everyone else think.

Saw it last night. Good movie, but I do agree that it's a bit too long (about 45 min.) but Helen Hunt in a wet shirt was cool :D and I liked the ending, even though it was ambiguous. And talking to his little friend on the island was funny as hell.

Not meaning me because I saw the movie 1 1/2 months ago (friends in really low places). =0) but don't give any of the details away about the movie (minus the Helen hunt t-shirt scene because that is something people should know).. But, I've always hated it when people ruin plots to movies.. NOT saying anyone did.. just asking people to be nice, because it is a good movie.. not GREAT.. but good..
