So...i haven't replaced my windshield wipers in oh...3 years =) before...i would usually just go to target and buy whatever stock wipers they had there....and NOW....i wanna know what you guys usually do when you have to replace your wipers. do you get special wipers? do you buy from target, autozone, etc etc? order from the internet?

do tell your wiper buying habits =) :spock:

Well, Donnie usually buys them at Auto zone. He buys one size, tries to get one on and then thinks he has bought the wrong size swearing he checked the book.

He then takes that set back, buys the new size and puts one on, then tries the other and it doesn't fit. Realizes at that point, that they are both different sizes and has to take one back and pick up one of the original size.

What I am trying to tell you, is check both blades :)

We have to replace ours once a year. The sun eats at them something awful here.

I stick with OEM--for my cars they're usually at least as good as the aftermarket stuff. Most stores sell the entire blade + housing as a replacement for $12-25 each, but you don't need to replace the entire thing. I get the OEM rubber inserts for around $5-6 each.

Anco is usually what I end up buying.

A measure of original blades is all you need and pretty much all aftermarket replacement blades of same length will fit.

Driver side longer than passenger side, huh? :D

I like Bosch (http://www.boschautoparts.com/Products/WiperBlades/Icon.htm) and Michelin (http://www.michelinwiperblade.com) blades...

those bosch and michelin blades look pretty snazzy. but for windshield washer fluid...i just use any blue stuff they have at the store. =) i've tried "high end" and the cheapest ones...imo...they both worked the same.
