Well, looks like we bought a PS3 for a GREAT price. So, now what games would be good?

ratchet and clank, and uh...for your family, that's about it right now.

Did you get the 60GB or what? With the 60GB, you can play PS2 games.

Somebody Donnie works with over in Iraq ordered himself one and got shipped two. He sold it to donnie for the price of his shipping ($10)

So yeah.

We never entertained us getting a PS3 and had just started thinking about an xbox360 (Audrey wants Eternal Sonata)

I know Assassin's Creed looks really cool- seen clips and stuff when watching X-Play.

Sell it and get a wii. It's much more familly friendly. (edit) The games are also cheaper. $50 instead of $60.

FYI Ratchet and Clank has a T

We have a Wii. Picked it up release night :)

Audie is 13, Mikey is 10 and Patrick is 3. So, Teen games, for her are okay and sometimes Mikey too. Audrey has been playing FPS since she was 5, Mikey not so much (likes cute cuddly games, Mario and puzzle types) and Patrick has been on our lap while we play GW and whatever Donnie is playing that week. We watch what our kids play, but we like to play too.

As for the unjust enrichment, yeah, I agree, but this is Donnie's call and he knows money is tight and it will make the kids smile. But thanks for the morality check.

Have you played Metriod Prime 3? It's very interactive and detailed. The puzzles and backstory also add depth making this game something more than just a shooting game.

Hate to break it to you Chrissy, but I've owned a PS3 for the last year (since launch) and I've never owned a game on it. None of them are really that good. Motorstorm is kinda cool, but it gets fast quickly.

gear.. if u dont like your ps3 you can sell it me for $10.. that is the going rate right?
