Bwwaaaaa haaa haa haaa....

I guess the Guatemalan Insanity Pepper is out then huh? :heh:

Funny thing is... he rubbed his eyes afterwards. He's lucky he didn't get any pepper juice in his eyes or under his fingernails. That would have been PAIN CITY!!!

I hear milk works well for instant relief.

They gave him milk...

That pepper was just too hot for milk to work. Did you watch the video? (or was your comment based on what we said above?)

Actually, he took a second bite. Then the heat started to set in.

In some areas (I've had it in New Mexico) they serve sopapillas and honey to help when the heat gets to be too much.

in the DR we we somehow agreed to eat a red pepper jabenero and chew it for 45 seconds before spitting or swallowing. i seriously couldn't even sleep that night. the mucus was streaming down my face as fast as the eyes were watering. one of the dominicans brought us some sugar, which they said helped, but since most of it was absorbed by the snot on my face before it got to my mouth, it didn't do much. what's the lesson? bring tissues!
(and that's Dominican Republic before someone asks)

Ah.... I see :D

Yeah... it's pretty bad (hot) when milk don't even work to cool it off.

The Science guy said that the heat would last about 5 to 6 hours... depending on the reporter's metabolism too.

I can't even imagine how hot that pepper is. Those dry little red peppers they put in Thai food is enough to do me in.
