Oooh I love both!!! I had a huge crush on Sam from Top Chef Season 2.

I think they kept the crazy girl around because crazy is more entertaining than boring. Anyone have picks yet?

My wife just told me this morning it's a good thing I've been working on the house so much.

I couldn't stand this show. :)

(She obviously loves it.)

It says that at the end you know. That they can pick whomever they want to win or get kicked and its not based on actual talent.

If they like you, you stay. Which means you create lots of drama and make the show more dramatic.

Project Runway just doesn't do it for me.
But I, too, LOVE Top Chef. Next season from Chicago. No idea when it starts though...

Love Project Runway! I am two episodes behind, though, because I watch it with a friend and he's out of town...

This is supposed to be the best bunch of designers, yet I haven't been impressed completely yet. I mean...last episode they barely finished and the clothes were awful. I don't know much about designing clothes, but is men's clothes really that difficult? It's a pair of pants..ok, women wear those too....a shirt...women wear that too...a suit jacket? Ok...I've seen some of you guys make jackets for girls...why did they screw up so much?!?

And this week...only the winning team's designs really impressed me.

i'm two episodes behind as well.

wasn't impressed with the first episode's gear.

LOVED michael's stuff from last season. except for his fashion week disaster.

My boyfriend rooted for Michael...I picked Jeffrey...there was something about the rocker attitude that did it for me. I'm glad he won, I did not care at ALL for Laura. I think her designs were classy and she has great attention to detail, but it was all the same...BORING!

I think the problem is more of a time issue than a design/create issue. If you've ever sewn, you would realize that a pattern is simply a pattern-not a perfected garment. They have to create the design, then make the pattern and hope it comes close to fitting their models..if they had more time they'd be able to do alterations that would make the garments look impeccable.
