Avoiding the cliches - this guy is probably the best vocal talent I have heard in the last ten years. He has good range but incredible sound. I hear Elton John, Ray Charles, Ben Harper, John Mayer and certainly Robbie Williams (smug as he is, he can sing like an angel) in this man's voice. What do you guys think? And why didn't someone tell me about this guy earlier! :)

Heard a lot of him when I was in London for four months. Check out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlhPfFnstR4&feature=related
However, he is kinda creepy singing live. I've sene him on a few late night shows, and especially singing slower (Last Request) he is distractingly odd while singing. Can't really explain it, just... weird. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyOIqQJzctE
I'm not a fan of the quivering

Just saw him play a couple songs at the Zeppelin concert last night . . . was very impressed with his voice. Of all the folks to play before Zep, he was the best.
He was a little strange up on stage, but hell, he's 20 and warming up for Zeppelin . . . I'd be a bit damn strange up there, too!

I've never heard of him either, so thanks for the heads-up. Great voice! Dude looks like a young Steven Tyler.
