Since it gets dark early now, I decided to hang out a bit longer in Balboa Park after I left the zoo. Some group was putting on a holiday (OK- Christmas! There- I said it!) concert at the Sprekels Organ Pavillion. Not a large turnout and maybe not top notch musicians, but it was nice and very enjoyable. I am not being bombarded with Christmas music in saturation at work so it is nice to listen to. Shot with my wide angle lens at ISO 400.
Just a note- the weekend of December 8 and 9th is the return of Christmas on the Prado (yeah, they changed the name to San Diego Winter Nights or some thing now) which is a great event- and pretty crowded. The International Houses will be selling traditional fare- some holiday some not- and restaurants will be there too along with lots of music, free museums, and all sorts of other things. It will take up the whole park (except maybe inside the zoo).
