I am seriously looking for someone. There are a ton of websites out there. Is there a reliable site that you know of?

Intellius has always been pretty accurate for me.

Agree with the zabasearch suggestion.

Also google their name and any pertintent facts you know about them or their family/friends.

Please post back if you find a better source than zabasearch :)

If you can pay for it, my suggestion is to go use Lexis Nexus, it has all the databases to public documents so you can find addresses and such info you need. It's really pricey though and I only used it at work or through the law school since they paid for it.

pipl.com is what I've seen somewhere else. I did it on myself and it had every phone number and address I've had. List everyone who lived in the same address too and their ages.

zabasearch only listed 10 names which were totally irrelevant. I am fairly certain that the name I found on Intellius is the person I wanted to locate.

Thanks a lot!!

Searched for myself on Intellius and one of the results, which no doubt is me (based on location and relatives), says that I'm 65 years old. HEH!

Is this a long lost loved one? Perhaps a great, great grandfather or aunt? If so, I have tried ancestry.com

Augh...after reading this thread, I checked out pipl.com and found this link that said, "Great wine and cheese party tips as suggested by *my name*" I used to work for a wine accessories company and did write a bunch of articles about how to taste wine, how to throw a wine tasting party, etc...so I was a bit intrigued on how someone interpreted what I wrote. I clicked on the link and there came up a clip of PORN and I somehow downloaded a terribly vicious virus. I'm soooo pissed that my name is now associated to porn and a virus! (I have since gotten rid of the virus, but it took all night and 2 CS majors/Microsoft workers) Anyone know what I can do about that to get my name taken off of there?

I don't think you can. I just read through the links at the bottom of the page. Seems it's just a search engine that searches the "deep web". I'll be sure not to look your name up there though :)
