Hey guys, i need your professional help. I know you guys are great at finding deals. I need help in find a deal on cellular phone and service. My parents are piss at me for hoging the phoneline at home and demand me to get a cell phone so they can reach us incase of emergency. My parents are restuarant owners so they need to keep in touch with us.

Not only do i need a good phone but good service. I'm looking for a phone that is digital and maybe both analogy as well where the service is very low but gives great minutes, great weekend minutes (free if it can be) and no charge for long distances. Plus i need a service where i can call from any where in usa which will not cost me extra. Also i need the service which allow two cell phones to use one service, just to save my parents money.

I know i'm asking alot of help since my demands are hight, but i can't find a good deal. i'm looking a sprint pcs but i've hear they have bad service (expensive ones), and poor customer service, but great phones.

I'm looking very hard, but i need your help comrads.

thanks
happy new year
dmak

P.S: also i do not need all the gadgets on a cell phone just the basic which will not cost me am arm and a leg (if a free one will even be better) :) happy hunting

ok even though you broke the rulez and posted on a got dealz forum instead of the need dealz forum (well itz understandable because alot of ppl dont visit the need dealz forum) anywayz herez a good deal on a nice cell....itz a Nokia 8260......you get the phone and 55 dollarz too (to buy wuteva accessoryz) well herez wut you do....the phone costs 99 beanz so buy it then sign up for service through AT&T ($29 Plan or higher) and you get a $75 Rebate, plus a $30 MIR on the Phone. And when you add something to your cart to bring it above $100 Use Coupon Code: AMZNCELLPHNE to save $50. So it comes down to $99 - $75 (AT&T) - $30 (MIR) - $50 (Coupon) = $55 Cash Back.....herez the link for the phone http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004Y883/dsc0f/107-9305058-1450157 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004Y883/) ....plz thnk the good ppl at deal spree for this deal...peace

Here's something. Go to Costco and buy a phone from them for 149.99 plus tax. Although Pac bell's plan varies with area (or nevada bell or whatever bells there are that are considered under the same bell company). Pac Bell will give you a rebate of $150 which will go as credit in your cellular account, meaning free service for a few months. The phone pack comes with a car adapter and a ear/mic piece and a 5190 nokia phone. With this, you wont have to wait a few weeks for the shipping from amazon, even though through amazon you get an additional 55 bucks. I dont think ATT's service is better then Pac Bells. Actually, I think they both suck since I got the Los Angeles Pac Bell plan which does not include nights. How in the world can someone talk 1000 minutes on in 8-10 weekend days?

I dont know about deals through verizon though, but I heard they're better then Pac Bells plan. Maybe Sprint's is better too. Try calling their stores to see what kind of deals they can get you. Sometimes stores have permission from their HQ to sell things extremely cheap or to give away free phones and accessories for a 1 or 2 year contract.

yeah i heard that at&t service iz pretty bad.......i guess they dont have enough support for all there customerz......dat meanz you get disconnected alot....o well either way service really differz depending on where you are....have fun

ps. hey if anyone has a 800.com or millionbuy.com coupon plz email me at [email protected]....or you could just post it, but i heard they are for one-time-use only....thnkz

Pacbell has a really cool deal until 01/31/01. It's a new plan they came out as of today. You can get UNLIMITED nights and weekends or extra 150 minutes to your plan or free mobile to mobile. At an extra $5, you can get first incoming minute free. However, if you were to sign up between 12/26 through 12/31, you also get $10 off the first three months. For the people who already have Pacbell plans, you can UPGRADE as well! Or for the people who had their contract up, but are still paying monthly, you can renew your contract. When renewing, ask for $150 rebate. This can go towards your new phone.(I checked and you can get a better deal on the phone when signing a new contract. But you get to keep your old number when you renew.)

Otherwise, if you like Verizon, try MCI. MCI buys out Verizon lines, therefore MCI has better and cheaper plans. AT&T... they just suck.. at least in the greater L.A.

As for Sprint... they have the best long distance plan, however, they suck in L.A. too.

I don't work for Pacbell, although I sound like I do...

gsx292: their website dosen't list anything about 10 off first three months, and the 150 rebate. is this a deal for everyone, or goes with a specific phone. becuase i was thinkin of gettin the 8290

I've heard Sprint sucks too. I personaly use Verizon and have been happy. Sprint just has really bad coverage outside any major city. So much for using your cell phone in an emergency outside the city with Sprint.
