Maybe it'll be for a sump pump.

I do them for cars every once in awhile. I make $100 bucks, and I get to see the upcoming concept cars, so it's pretty fun. Sometimes all the questions are a bit tedius, but it's worth it for the easy money.

I commissioned several focus groups last month. It was fun being behind the glass :)

I've signed up for them before. They usually overbook because they count on the fact that some people won't show up. When I've gone everyone showed up and I got my $200 and walked out the door without doing anything.

I'm on these groups all the time due to the fact I'm a professor at a large university. The book publishers are always looking for feedback. Usually $150 per hour I spend with them.

Look around your area for market research companies and go to their office. They usually have a list you can sign up to be on to get contacted for these groups.

Sounds like some easy money. Think I'll check some out. Thanks for the info gear. :)

I've been in many focus groups due to the fact I'm an network/communications engineer. I often get calls for online focus groups to look at things and for my technical opinions.

I do a bunch as well, mostly over the phone or online. Quick & easy money!

The hard part is getting an invitation from a legit place.

I've never been a part of one either... sounds like it could be interesting.

I've done one for Cox cable. I think it was $50 for about an hour.

Participated in my first one this week.

$100 plus food and booze. :) Granted, it was 4 hours long, but it was all about sports (primarily ESPN) and who wouldn't want to talk about sports for 4 hours, get fed, have the bar tab picked up and get paid?? :kaching:
