Sad day at uc's house. Can't believe Dallas beat themselves tonight. Penalties, penalties, penalties... and a few Crayton dropped passes were a determining factor in this game IMO. :disa:
Come on 2008 season.

Was Jessica Simpson at the game in a pink #9 jersey again so all the dallas fans can blame the loss on her?
On a side note, I can now put back in storage the container of dirt I have from the new cowboys stadium in Arlington. I've been pissing on it every week in a salute to them, so I'll put it back in storage in a sealed container until August.

Hoping something will grow out of it?

Come on 2008 season.
Same thing they did over the final month of the regular season. I couldn't believe that more of the prognosticators weren't taking the Giants. The Giants kept sustaining injuries on defense and the Cowboys were unable to take advantage.
Anyone see TO's presser after the game? Either that was a complete act or he has serious issues.

Romo didn't lose it for the Cowboys. It was the Giants defense in the last quarter suddenly being able to put significant pressure on Romo. It was pretty amazing actually

As much as I hate Dallas, I wanted them to win because the only thing better than a Charger win is a Manning loss !!

Though I agree that the NY defense did finally put last quarter pressure on Romo, it was actually two significant stupid penalties that kept NY drives, where they would have punted, alive; they scored both times. Agreed, Romo didn't lose this one. The defense did, along with those dropped Crayton passes. But hand it to my man Barber, he played his ass off.
I've still got the Bolts though.

Romo blew it. He's gotta get his head in the game or else he'll never win the big one for the Cowboys.
I saw the entire Terrell Owens speech after the game, not just the part of him crying. I changed my mind after seeing it. I don't think he was just being dramatic. I felt that his who speech was heart-felt and sincere. He gained points in my book, which takes him to about 3.

Why is there so much disdain for the Mannings? I understand why Eli gets ridiculed after forcing San Diego to trade him, but I don't understand why Peyton is disliked.

Were we watching the same game? Where in that game did you see Romo blowing it? If anything, key plays were made by him. Other than the delayed snaps causing false starts, (only debatable opinion and not mine), and maybe a couple high passes, I saw no real fault in Romo's performance. His receiver's were dropping passes and there was no protection in the fourth quarter. Big penalties by the defense allowed NY to continue drives that should have ended. This wasn't Romo's fault, but as in all games, when a team wins the Quarterback gets all the credit and when they lose he gets all the blame.
In the 4th quarter Romo took the sacked and lost 14 yards when he obviously should have just thrown the ball away. Later on the same drive he intentionally grounded the ball. He completely blew this critical drives when Dallas needed it most.
He just doesn't perform well under pressure. He was visibly flustered and making mistakes.

Because he had the misfortune to be related to the arrogant, mediocre Archie Manning. Scr*w them all and the egos they rode in on.

the mannings ego? how 'bout your retarded qb taunting the crowd. merriman getting a "sack" when on the busted play where PM basically took a knee and shawn acting like he just chased down a gazelle, and then the recent comments by ummm....a SD player...saying the pats are the ones scared of the game cuz they know who we are.

Some of his passes were absolutely gorgeous and right on the money. But those two sacks he took really hurt. That's a mental breakdown. But I think he's very talented. Hopefully he gets tired of Jessica by next year's season so he can help the Cowboys back into the playoffs (and hopefully not blow it for them for the third year in a row ;))

plus he fumbled the snap on that field goal attempt and had to try and run for the first down.
oh wait. that was last year. :heh:

Honestly, I haven't seen much "ego" on the part of Peyton... he seems pretty humble to me considering these "egos" that you speak of in the Manning family.
But hey, he's the "golden child" of QBs (most favored son)... too bad he can't get the Patriot monkey off of his back. :heh:

If Rivers was a linebacker no one would think twice about him jawing at people.BUT because he is a Qb he is suppossed to be some saint. Screw that...He's young and dumb at times but he's MY Qb and I am sticking with him because he hasn't done anything illegal, gotten arrested or beat up his wife/gf. All he has done is lead his team to 7(?) wins in a row..at least 2 of them games people said they didn't have a chance in hell-o of winning. Lights out wasn't celebrating a "sack" because it wasn't one. He was celebrating knowing the Colts were going to lose. Mike Goff was absolutely right in what he said. NE has everything to lose...Chargers aren't even supposed to be there. So there is no pressure on them. let me remind all who don't know, I have red hair and you are starting to make it smoke...but bring it on, I after all have nothing to lose...I'm not even supposed to be here. :wavey2:

That loss really shouldn't count. How many other starting QB's hold for the place kicker. :pfft: :D Didn't they make a new rule due to that play where they now have a protected ball for the kicker....without the sheen? Or was that in my dream?
