Seriously, that dog must be "part gopher" or something.
Was he running or swimming through all that snow?

I do NOT like that video. That poor dog could have been easily buried in all that snow. And yes, I realize you can't help the weather where you live but they could have cleared an area for the dog to play in....T HAT SCARES ME! My dogs are smart, they go outside, do their thing, and then come back in the house to snuggle on their warm beds or near the heat vents! :)

Well Obby... it really looks as if the dog was having fun out there. And in several cases he was buried in snow... to which he tunneled his way (ala "Bugs Bunny... turn left at Albuquerque style") through the snow back to the open road.
The dog wasn't forced to jump in the snow... or thrown into it, he went willingly. But then again, Dalmations are pretty dayuum hyper if you ask me (My cousin had one named "Oreo"... and man that dog was a handful)
I guess this is something unique about the "retriever/working dog" class... they gladly jump into water and do stuff that other dogs would be ... WTH???? OH HELLS NO!!!! :heh:

yes meanie..hmph. I always clear an area of my yard for the dogs..
and yep I've always had retrievers, but I love them too much to let them SMOTHER under a ton of snow.

If the dog was weak from being outside for several days, or underfed, or left out in a dog house, then, ok, maybe it could get smothered and die.
But that dog....there's no way that dog was going to smother in the snow. He is healthy and obviously lives inside the rest of the time.
Seems like he was having a BLAST.

No, not really. I am pretty stiff when I am singing. Everyone and I mean everyone tells me to loosen up. For the life of me, I just can't seem to.
I think it is stage fright or something. You would think after 15 years, I could just loosen up, but I can't.
