So, Audrey comes home from school and tells me that her school will not accept checks for her PE uniform. WTF???? nothing was sent home about this and I know I have sent checks this year for other things. Call the school - yep policy is set by the school, not the district and they are no longer taking checks. Just money orders or cash. I NEVER carry cash and I am not going to buy a MO for the flipping school when my checks are good. (I do understand that it's their choice, but the rest of the district takes checks!!! At least the ones that we have dealt with). Fine. They are a bunch of idiots there and I have gone around with them a few times this year already for being idiots. I stated OUT LOUD "My son will not go there next year, I can't stand the thought of him going and having to put up with this school." If I would have known half the teachers are going to school to further their education in other career fields and didn't care what they taught the kids or didn't teach the kids, I wouldn't have placed Audie in that school this year.
So, after muttering those words outloud. Donnie comes home.
We have a few choices...
a couple in OK, one in NE, one in ID and NC and the last in TX.
And this move will happen (military time  ) in June. This of course after getting a letter yesterday stating that they are moving us end of March beginning of April. YES, moving us to a new house for 3-4 months so they can move us where ever.
And yes, Donnie has 19 months left in the service. By the time we move, he will have about a year at the new base before dropping his retirement paperwork.
:thud:
