Tinker... Not even one of our picks, but what is new?
He will be in a Combat unit. he is not thrilled.

I am really sorry for Donnie. I know that isn't what he wanted. :(

But OKC will be a good place for you & the kids. ;) Close to your parents, me, etc. lol :)

Hi Chrissy,

I work here at TAFB as a civil, so what do you want to know? I don't know where you are now or have you ever being to OKC, but people here are very relax compare to N.Y. I was from N.Y originally. They talk/walk/work very slow, but I have gotten use to it now and become one of them myself :gle:
As you know, O.K is flat so the weather here is very unpredictable. And we do have tornado here and often too specially from Spring thru summer :dead:

We are stationed currently at Nellis AFB. He is being transferred to the 32 combat comm sq. with less than 2 yrs remaining out of his 20 yr career. :D We have been here since March of 2001.

I grew up just outside of STL, MO so the weather isn't going to bother me, but it will him. We have friends who have been at Tinker (FAA actually) since 2000 and they live in Moore. We visited them back in 2004 around Christmas. She loves the schools in that area so we will probably start there.

I have been all over that link and some others since this afternoon :D Bad things already happening - Our school gets out June 6th. Apparently, the last day of school in OKC is May 21. Will have to figure out that one. Either trying to report early or later.

If you like beer, better bring some with you. Beer is rediculously weak in OK because of their laws.
