Did everyone get the notice in the mail regarding this tax credit?
Did our government REALLY just spend all that money and time printing this utterly useless notice. Its not very informative and who has not heard about this?
Instead of wasting $0.40 on postage and $.10 on printing times 1 per tax filer per address - I am sure we could have spent that money a little wiser.
Anybody else wondering what they are thinking/doing?

I also wonder about what they are thinking/not thinking/doing/not doing. :D
BTW... at least from what I read lately, we won't get taxed next year on this "rebate" as compared to if it were a "refund".

I got one too and learned nothing new. Has anyone seen the breakdown on how the rebate rates? I know it's based on income levels but I'd like to know how much I'm getting.

I know that our lovely prez wants us to spend the money right away on TVs, cars, clothing, trips, etc but I'm done listening to him. My check is going straight into my Roth.
