Anybody still have a Zip Drive??

I've got a friend who needs to recover a couple important files from an old zip disk. If anybody still has a drive that works, I'd like to ask you to retrieve the files for me. You could just email me the files, assuming the disk is still in readable condition. Could anybody be able to help me?

Or if you're willing to part with the drive, I could even buy the drive off you (for cheap hopefully :) ).

I think I might have mine. It's a zip 100 so it won't play nice with the 250 one. I'll look for it but it's internal zip drive.

I am pretty sure I have a zip 250 at work. I can't sell it if I do, but I'll try and recover the files for you if you like. No problem at all.

Okay, so my friend's disk is a 250MB disk. So I'm gonna ask you to help me, eSDee if it's not too much trouble. I'll PM you later. It may be a week or so as my friend has to send it from overseas He used to go to school in the States and now he's abroad where the PCs have no zip drives (isn't that a U2 song or something?).

Doh. My internal Zip at home is only 100. On the client site, all computers for some reason including the new Dells have internal 250 Zips. If you're SOL with everyone I can give it a shot too.
