Dang Padres

The darn Padres kept me up 'til all hours of the morning then still lose. :(

Stupid umpire in the, oh, I dunno, like the 11th or 12th inning called a strike RIGHT DOWN THE PIPE a ball :spock: and ended up that instead of called strike three the batter walked and caused the tying run to come across.

So, cheesed, with the Padres, with the umpire and with myself for staying up so late. I'll try to sneak a nap later today at lunch time. :sleep:

Wow, the longest I have been at a game was for 16 innings... Would have been strange to go throught the 21st inning stretch

Did they reopen the concession stands? I would be getting pretty hungry after that long. I was curious about the pitching situation= how many and who they ended up using. I could check the box score I suppose.

No I didn't stay up for the whole thing, but still, stayed up tooooo late. I was dead the day after.

Yes... actually the concessions did reopen.

I think both teams used everyone they had, except the starting pitcher for the next day. And actually the Padres did use their next starting pitcher, Maddox traded off and worked a day early.
