When I try going to the forums area of www.aopa.com (an aviation website) I usually get a message on their forums site(forums.aopa.org) saying I need to enable cookies. I've been on the forums site a couple times and have changed nothing, yet I usually get this annoying meesage and can't get into the forums. Anyone have any thoughts what is going on and how to get past it? I am using IE 7 and have Zone Alarm Security Suite. I emailed their people and they onlt came up with try going to the forums from the main AOPA webpage. It made no difference. I've cleared cookies, cache, etc., but no luck. I'm not blocking cookies. Also the forum setup is similiar to this one where I have no problems.
Thanks

Do you have javascript enabled. A lot of times the code that sets cookies doesn't get to run unless javascript is enabled.

Thank you, I checked and Javascript is enabled. Man this is annoying. I was able to sign up for their forums and post a question, then ever since with the exception of one time I get the message "cookies need to be enabled". I tried on all 3 of my desktops and get the same result. All have the same Security, but one has IE 6 since its a WIn 2000 machine. I'll hook up my laptop and try. If anyone else has a thought feel free, as the websites tech hasn't responded to my 2nd email.
Thank you

I had an annoying problem like that and I clicked Reset all zones to default level and it started working again. Give that a shot.

As a temp fix, try closing out zone alarm. It does it to me all the time with MyPoints Bonus email links. As soon as I turn off ZA they work just fine.

Thank you for the further ideas! I still keep getting the same message. This is ridiculus. I tried my laptop which has an older version of ZA and whatever virus program that RoadRunner provides free with their service. I'm getting no response from the tech people at the site, so maybe they are just blocking me. :) Geez, I didn't even post anything inflammatory or post any porn.
Thanks
