This is being posted on a lot of web sites, but I thought I'd mention it here. You can get a free license to WinRar version 3.62 from the German PC World web site:
Go to the following and fill out the form
https://covermount.win-rar.com/pcwelt0508/
(Fields are: first name, last name, email address, confirm email address, and select a country (Anderes Land for Other Country). Submit the form and you will get an email. Click on the SECOND link in the email and it will take you to the page to download the license key. Find a place to download WinRar 3.62 (just do a google), install it, then open the license key file and it will automatically register (or extract the license key to the WinRar installation folder).
Note: the above web site is being hammered to death, so you will likely have to try multiple times each time you have to access the site.
