I just got a demo unit of one of those Lenovo X300s - dang, that's an impressive machine. Tiny, light, fast & crazy battery life (9+ hours with 2 batteries installed). Plus it has the optical device built in (which is kinda the point of the video above). Also has a screen with a usable resolution - 13" @ 1440x900.

The only drawback is the cost - cheapest I've seen it is $2800, because they only offer it with a 64GB SSHD. A mechanical drive is not an option.
