i was gone for a week to Florida and then 3 more days passed. today i decided to check my yahoo email account. what i fine 132 emails mostly for col0n cleaners , diet pills ,free meals ,The Normal Spam.
but whats i really like about yahoo if you use it for Spam sites like i do. your only 3 clicks away to a empty email history.
first i check the box in the InBox to highlight all the BS Spam i have got. then click the delete button .and next i just click the empty the deleted trash. not like some other free email service

 to Yahoo E-mail

What button highlights all the BS spam? I always have to manually check all the spam and then I click the spam button which deletes them.

Interesting - with gmail I don't even see spam. Every so often I'm reminded of the large number in my spam folder, and I go back, do a couple of scans, and delete them all. But I get maybe one or two spam messages a month that fail the filter.

That, and I use Spambayes for my Outlook filter .. and it works f'n wonders.

I rarely get anything through on Earthlink. I used to get a lot more but they have improved their blocking.

I never see junk e-mail on my gmail account either. My yahoo account get tons, even though I've NEVER given it out or used it for anything. Hotmail get tons, but thats cuz
I use that for everything and everyone.

On Hotmail, all spam and unwanted mail goes to my junk folder and I never even look there. It gets emptied automatically. I also use Time Warner and very pleased.

My Yahoo email address is something I never use. However, I'll get a dozen or so junk emails in it a month (with spam filtering turned on). On my main comcast email, I'll see maybe one piece of spam a month that gets past their filters.
