thought of changing your car/truck due to the price of gas ?
i know we did think of buying a new work truck. but came up with a better idea as my works slow anyway. we got the wife a new car.i took over her payed off 2002 Saturn Vue. and use it for doing job estimates and small repair work i can use it on. as most handy repairs i don,t really need my f-150 ford v8 for anyway. so she got a new car of her choice. she only used for work anyway 26 mile round trip. i got a major gas saver all around suv 4 cyl. 5 speed 34 mpg to use. we are both happy and best of all it was Her IDEA :)
and my work truck will /should last the next 2 years. and that is all i was planning on a new truck to be needed .we saved like 8 - 10 grand extra i would of spent more for a new chevy 4x4 .out fitted to use for work.:)
sure i may of got 2 mpg better with the new truck but that a lot to spend.when you figure higher insurance costs, old trucks payed off and would of only got at best 3 grand in trade in value.
so have you thought of or bought a newer car of late becouse of the cost of gas ?
