Been running it since 9:30 this morning. ;)

A few plugins got broken (i.e., no compatible 3.0 version). Had to download latest Free Download Manager to fix its compatibility.

I'm a bit annoyed that Firefox wants to put its "Most Visited" icon at the left end of the Bookmark Toolbar (and won't let you drag it to the other end), but you can drag your other icons to the left of it (or possibly edit your bookmarks) to get it to the right hand end - I didn't like it taking over the left end spot.

By the way, I've heard that the official download site might be unresponsive due to all the downloads, and that some spyware sites have fake versions of Firefox 3 to try to snare the unwary. Be careful where you download from (I got mine through MajorGeeks (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Mozilla_Firefox_d2248.html)).

Downloaded, installed, and used since this morning in my work computer.

I downloaded from FileHippo.

Downloaded earlier and just installed. Ticked cause 8 of my 16 extensions aren't usable right now. lol

And also I don't like the Bookmarks Toolbar menu being there in the Bookmarks. Bleh.

I'm not a fan of the extra icon next to the address bar. I've used the search function a lot by alt-d, shift-tab. Now I have to shift-tab twice. Anyone know of a shortcut key to go straight to the search box? on mac, it's alt-k. wish there was one on windows.

im waiting there's a bug in 3.0 im waiting !
Researcher reports first Firefox 3.0 bug. there not saying what it is do.
The bug has been reported to Mozilla, TippingPoint announced in a post to a company blog. "While Mozilla is working on a fix, we won't be divulging anything else until a patch is available," said TippingPoint, citing policy. "Once the issue is patched, we'll be publishing an advisory."

The Austin-based security vendor operates the Zero Day Initiative (ZDI), one of two prominent vulnerability-purchasing programs, and it regularly buys bugs from independent researchers, then reports the flaws to the appropriate vendors. TippingPoint is perhaps best known for sponsoring an annual hacking contest, in which researchers try to break into stock Windows, Mac OS X or Linux laptops, at the annual CanSecWest security conference.
