package tracking bit_h

I in the last week or so have order 2 shipments from different company's. one used the USPO the other used UPS. both company's supplyed with tracking info via a email.
what piss me off is with both company's Woot and Intermatic Inc.

the tracking info didn't arrive till the day before the package was to arrive at my door.(woot) or the day it is due to arrive (Intermatic Inc). in both cases the goods were shipped out a min of 3 to 4 days before hand. sure glad i don't have to worry about some one having to be here to receive them. you think do company's would send you tracking info the day they ship not days later.

I don't know anything about Intermatic, but with woot this is standard and expected. It used to be joked about in the forums over there all the time. Many times I have received my package before the tracking info shows up in my inbox.

:shrug: It doesn't bother me with them anymore. I'm used to it. Think of it this way, it's sorta like a "Bag of Crap", you never know what you are going to get. (or when you are going to get it!) :D

I've had the exact opposite experience. I get my confirmation e-mails the same day I place an order ("Day" for me is relative :P). I always get my package on the "estimated" day of delivery. I've only had 1 problem with woot, and after sending an e-mail and getting told my crap wasn't coming my refund was in my bank account within a day or so.
