like i said my nephews being placed in china for 2-3 years by his company .

his dad said the company is giving him $800 a month transportation allowance, and payed 2 round trip air for him and his wife.there also was a large increase in his pay.
he said there in China (DONG CHOng) they use public trans.and its cheap .

im know his companys also paying for there housing .his wife said there home there will have 2 extra guess rooms .if we decide to make a 18 hour air flight for a visit.
anyway i know they be in what is know as community for foreign workers. the city i think is called (DONG CHOng)
hell there even taking there dog with them .

ok i get to my question - this seem like the normal perks if your transfer out of the country for a long stay by your company ?

dong chong is a nice place to live in if you're gonna be living in china. and if they're gonna be staying at a place with a lot of other expats, then it shouldn't be a problem at all. sorry tho, i can't answer your question. but the perks do seem nice.

Yes, those are normal from what I understand. I am overseas with my company and the perks are nice. They have to be to get most people to uproot their families and move somewhere else on the other side of the planet. I do know that my company only gives one home trip per year, though.
