I have only known a few and to me they looked pale and were a bit skinny. But that has just been my experience.

There is one lady in my office that fits in that category... and yeah, she looks frail as hell.
I'm like... wow, that really doesn't look all that healthy. :2far:

I work with 2 vegetarians. One is really skinny, the other has about 20 pounds extra weight, and she claims she goes to the gym every day. Vegans tend to be skinnier because they are much more hardcore about not eating anything animal related, where a lot of vegetarians are lacto, ovo, pesco vegetarians, so they like their milk products.

See...this is something I don't understand....if they were doing it right, they would be healthy. I know a LOT of vegetarians who are very healthy. They work out, are muscular, play sports, etc and don't look like they've been staying inside for the past 10 years with nothing but florecent lights.

I am a vegetarian...but not skinny and definately not pale (spend all the time i can outside)
6'4" 190 pounds...
I think its a generalization about vegheads that we are all rail thin and pale.. Not true. It is reflective of our diet, and generally about our outlook on life.. no Mc-e-Ds/fastfood/etc
Health wise- I havent been sick for a long time ie. 10 years (but that is just me) I used to eat meat, and I definately feel a lot healthier and happier since cutting out the meat. I think the health is a pairing of diet and outlook on life (ie healthier attitude- excercise etc)

What I've found is that vegetarians in my life (that does sound kind of funny) are about 50/50. One half doesn't eat meat because of the concept, and the other half just doesn't care for it. Both though, tend to be more fit I believe, because they are more conscious of what they are eating.
Me? I believe meat is murder. Tasty, delicious murder.
