AMD 5000 BE question

I finally got a full system after slow upgrades that I'm happy with-AMD 5000 BE, Asus MB (I forget which one off hand) 4850, 4 gigs of ram even though windows sees 3.25, 74gig raptor (and I have room to spare :) ).
The 5000 at stock speed is 2.6, yet for some reason when I go to my computer and look at properties, Windows displays it at 2.8. I haven't overclocked it yet, and so do not understand why it would be at this speed. Any ideas?

hrm...no idea.

maybe go into your bios settings and see if the original voltage have changed from factory settings.

and i think you can fix the ram issue by downloading sp1 for vista (assuming you're using vista)
