Yup, they make them that go even further. Some providers use these in rural areas, since it doesn't make sense to bury cables in sparsely populated areas.


Make sure you have good security set up, 'cuz all your neighbors will be able to see your AP!

Be careful though, I think it's the FCC that regulates here and you're not supposed to be transmitting anything that far without the proper licensing.

I think Wifi and personal FM broadcasting is overlooked, but who knows if they will decide to enforce it some day.
