US and China are tied at 8. Ooooh.

Home field advantage.
I heard some guy on PBS radio who used some bunch of data including economics to predict the final medal tallies and he said that the US and Russia would get more gold than China. Things like swimming and track and field, where we are stronger, are later in the games.

Anyone pay attention to that 4x1 (I believe it was) swim relay yesterday? :) That got me really excited. I'm not even a swim fan!

you talking about the Men's 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay were team USA won .and there were 5 teams that broke the world record for the event. that was a great race and not because are team won.
i am so glad we made the team from France eat dirt right at the end. i understand they were mouthing off and now they got mud in there faces :) WAY GO TEAM USA !
