I got bitten by the economy monster!

so the slow economy finally caught up with me. I was recently "reassigned" at work. Since things haVe been slow they had to downsize one salired position and I was the low man on the totempole. What sucks worse is that I understand he business side of it. I did nothing wrong nor did I not do something. Just one of those things. To make matters is my boss is awesome. She was pretty upset she had to to it. And the supervisor who is taking my place is excellent as well. LOL. I can't e en play the imcompetent replacement card. It a pretty big pay cut. But onthe flip side I have the potential to possibly make More money because I am hourly now which dans overtime and I am now elegible for commision. Since I am by far the best sales rep on the team, I should make plenty of that. Plus I am first inine for the promotion when that Time come
so. So tjikngs will be tight at the squirrels nest for a bit (40% pay cut). But with a little luck and a little love we should persevere

Bummer and then not. At Laidlaw I had the choice of salary versus hourly and I chose hourly. I knew I was guaranteed the 40 per week but I also knew that they would need me overtime at least 4 days a week. I ended up making $15,000 more per year than my boss. :D
