Anyone else find it odd that he's in the movie Bloodsport with a small part?

Is he the only decent actor in that movie? How'd they manage that?

Wasn't Ogre from Revenge in the Nerds in that as well? If so, don't forget that oscar-worthy performance ;)

Who was Forrest Whitaker in that movie again? I haven't seen it in 10 years.

He played Rawlins, one of the army officers sent to locate Frank Dux (Van Damme) in Hong Kong.

I thought the movie was ok for its time. Probably never noticed Forrest since I watched it so long ago.

Man all you guys keep talking about how bad it is, it makes me feel bad. I didn't think the movie was bad at all, at least for the time, and I never did have a problem with Van Damm.. He isn't the best actor but neither is Arnold, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagul or whatever.. They all had "Sub par" acting skills but their movies were all "entertaining" usually, which is all I tend to require out of most movies.

Unless there is supposed to be a subtle message in the movie like Starship Troopers. That movie was awesome for it's message.:abduct:

Don't misunderstand - it's a product of its time and its place. It's a great movie for what it is. And I'll be the last to say people shouldn't watch it. It is genuinely entertaining.

But it's still a really cheesy movie.

Isn't just about all Van Damme movies "cheese"...???

That man carries a special combat knife in his pocket just to spread the cheese... since it's so thick. :heh:
