specifically...bronx. it's really ghetto here.

I'm here visiting a friend, and hopefully seeing my cousin and cousin-in-law...then i head over to philly...then head over to maryland, and then finally heading back to good ol oakland california. (then 2 days later, back to school...booo) but yeah...i feel really out of place here in the bronx. there are lots of....ghetto. spray paint everywhere, and to get to my friends place, i exit the gunhill rd exit. the irony is...i heard a gunshot last night =) sighhhhh. hehhe...and now, i'm in the library...hooking up my lappy. I'm hoping to make it to the UN, WTC, and few other places, but the UN and WTC i really wanna see.

At the south street seaport is NYC Brew Fest. $55 a ticket, gets you to try and retry as many beers as you wish (and you get a cool souvenir glass) for as long as there is beer remaining.

hey dudes. I'm doing well -- still living in NYC....got married last year. which is how I acquired Cheesypuff as my counsin-in-law (actually, second cousin, but who's really counting?)

glad to see that there are still a few people on here who i recognize (i'm looking at you two, plus attgig, sbp and mcs....this thread is like an old-school g|a reunion).

looks like i get to see cheesy for dinner tonight. I will try to take some pics. :D

I went to the WTC today, it was pretty cool....honestly, I didn't realize it was 9.11 till i arrived there (which made it all the more special). but i had a heavy feeling there, sorta draining. Just knowing all the people who passed away gave me a odd emotion. But it was good seeing it for the first time.

Anywho...saw my cousin and her hubby (whitak), and we had a MASSIVE burrito...so goood! I like where they live, it's pretty chill there.
