I think the supply is starting to catch up to the demand. In the Target/WalMart near me they almost always have consoles in and the Wii Fit as well.

They are. Like 280ish after tax.
I wouldn't pay any more than the retail price.

Are you checking wiitracker.com to see when the Amazons, BestBuys, etc have them in stock for retail price?

As long as your Tax is at or less then 8% it shouldn't be any more then 270 right? Are you looking to buy one at 250 only?

I was at Toys R Us this Saturday and someone bought 5 of them. They're out there it you look for them.

I wonder why. I guess people still sell them for a profit? It seems like that profit would have dwindled enough to not be worth the effort. Everyone wants to free buck.

I have seen a few brand new ones on Craigslist for $220 and some used ones even cheaper.

Sounds fishy.
i'm actually planning to sell mine. just need to figure out whether there's a way to reset the box to remove all my data for good.
