Total memory 4GB PC2-5300 SDRAM (2 DIMMs)

Video adapter ATI Radeon HD 2400PRO 128MB 64BIT DMS59 ATX

Processor Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E4600 Processor (2.4GHz 800MHz FSB 2MB L2)

I have a friend buying a new PC. I need to tell her if that's going to be enough to run vista the way it wants to run. Anyone care to comment?

which vista are you planning to run.

my laptop is a 2.0 intel core 2 duo, shared memeory, and 3 gigs of ram, and it runs vista home premium smoothly. So with that set up, i think it's safe to say that it'll fun vista well.

It'll run it. It won't look the greatest though. Try it on the same resolution as your cellphone :)
