Hello GotApex'ers,
I am looking for deals on the above mentioned set
of speakers.
I'd also like to get the members' opinion on these
speakers and also if you can suggest better brands/models.
$53 was the best deal I could find for the Yamaha
speakers on http://www.pricescan.com (Or was it Pricewatch?).
I am looking for speakers in the sub-$50 range and would
like the best speakers for this price.
Any help will be appreciated.
Joe.

Thanks Talk2Raffi.
Does the YSTMS30 include paper woofer too?
checked out epinions.com and all reviewers have given a 5 star rating.
The speakers looked compact, and nice, sounded not too bad
(heard it only once though..)
Any other similar speakers out there that are comparable in price and have better performance?

If it is anything made in the past couple of years, then it probably does.....
for $50 you arent gonna get much quality...try spending at least $100...or go to Good Guys..they usually sell their floor models at a great price...

I got these for $15 (if I ever get my $20 rebate)..for that price it's decent, but I wouldn't pay $50 for 'em....
not a huge difference from my stock speakers, but my sound card sucks and barely pushes any bass through the subwoofer

Hey BobDiggy,
Can you tell me where you got the rebate from?
Also, some sites carry a $20 manufacturer's rebate and some don't. Can someone please tell me if this rebate is still being offered? And a link to the rebate coupon please??
$15 for these speakers looks like an awesome deal! Give me more info please?
Thanks,
Joe.

Also, can someone please tell me how the Yamaha speakers
compare to the Altec Lansing 45.2 (??) speakers? One advantage with the AL speakers is that they have an extra audio input, that I am not sure about the Yamaha.
I'd like to know how these two brands compare against each other.
Thanks,
Joe.
