Taking a shot that someone may have an idea of what maybe wrong before I bring it in for an estimate. We have a 32" HDTV Panasonic tv that started turning off and we have to unplug it, plug it back in and it turns back on. Sometimes it will do it just once and be fine other times we have to go through the process a couple times. And still other times we just walk away for a few hours because everytime we plug it back in and turn it on, it comes on and turns off right away time after time. Its model # CT-32HX42f. Thanks for any ideas. I did do a search, but I am useless at searching for some reason.

Sounds like others are having this same problem:

Thanks, I'll have to add this TV to my list of crappy big purchases it looks like. I'll take a look and see if it is maybe just a fuse this time, but it looks like that would just be the beginning of problems from what I read on the link.
Thanks again

I feel your pain...

The bulb on my Mitsubishi DLP went out this past weekend... and those things cost like $150 to $250 to replace.

Fortunately, I bought the extended 5 year warranty... however I still have to wait for the service tech to come see me and the warranty company says I have to wait 72 hours (from my call yesterday) for service to get in touch with me.

There's no telling how long my TV will be down... and right now, I'm back to watching an old 27" Analog set that I had mothballed in my main living room.
