Are there any good multiplayer games for PS3?

I have MGS4 and Blitz 2001 (PS1). Rockband 2 and Blitz the league 2 preordered, so that takes care of 1st person shooter, sports and music games. But I am a nintendo convert and seems like there are no good multiplayer games out there. Anyone have any suggestions?

To be honest, I think you bought the wrong console for multiplayer fun. My PS3 largely sits unused except for a few good games.

I have MLB 08 (best baseball game ever) and Uncharted (best Indiana Jones game that's not Indiana Jones ever).

Warhawk is a multiplayer only game and looks to be relatively popular. Maybe SOCOM and Call of Duty 4?

Isn't GTA4's multi-player supposed to be really good?

GTA4 Multiplayer is alright. It could be a little better, more co-op options and such, but it's not bad. Warhawk is pretty awesome. If you like racing then Motorstorm or the new Motorostorm 2 is awesome. The first one is only Online Multi.

Theres some other games I'll think of them when I get back home.

I like the playstation. I have the PS3 and the Wii, and definitely play the PS3 more often the the Wii, it just sits there collecting dust, and I have 17 games for it.

Of all the games I downloaded from the playstation store. the only good multiplayer games are puzzlefighter and pixel junk monsters.

Cant wait till blitz and rockband 2 get here....

I hate Deep Discount DVD... I preordered Blitz the league 2 and then when it was supposed to ship they put it on backorder with no estimated ship date...
