Life is NOT FAIR!!!! I fly cross country to get to the normal side of the United States, where people actually tell you what they think and where to shove it ( you know the east coast) for a little R and R, but I get here and its FREEZING, none of my friends could make it down here, and to top it off I get sick as a dog.
I get to fly in to Florida maybe once a year if i am lucky due to my hectic schedule. Which is nice because I get to see my family and friends, enjoy some normal weather for a change, go diving, and just relax. Unfortunately, someone above must have a sick sense of humor because I am always complaining about how cold it is in San Diego. Consequently, it is the coldest it has been in this area of florida for 30 years! This of course drops the water temperature down to a chilly 70 degrees (which is a bath compared to california). That alone would have put a damper on my trip, but then I get the most miserable cold. i cant eat, i cant sleep, i cant talk, i cant breathe. Every drug invented is seemingly a gnat to this bug. I am going crazy. To top it off, i need to fly back to California tomorrow, and I am so congested that I cant equalize my ears...which means I cant fly! And its a damn priceline ticket because we decided to be cheap about it and got screwed already. Plus I HAVE to be back no later than the 13th or I will be killed.
ARRRGGGHHHHH. I cant even drink with all the meds I am on so I cant drown my sorrows away.
This has to be my best vacation ever....whoops, forgot the time I got chicken pox while I was away, ok my second worst vaction ever, in terms of my miserableness level.
