Refurbished Dell laptop with XP?

I can't find anything from Dell's website. It must also have S-Video out.

Check in the morning - I just took a peek and there are literally hundreds with XP.

Change Stockroom to Laptops, change Model to All & then click on the price column to sort by cost. Then try the different XP operating system pulldown until you find what you like. You might have to click 'filter results' after you change something to apply the change.

Same instructions as above, but there are 2 stockrooms to check - Latitude Laptops and Vostro Laptops.

If it fits in your budget, I'd *highly* reccommend the Latitude D620 or D630. Excellent machines.

Thanks, Jeff. There are a lot in Small Business, only a few mini's in Home. Does Dell usually ship these out immediately and are extended warranties available?

Also, how do I tell if they have S-Video out?

Yes, they usually ship right away. They'll tell you a ship date a week or 2 out, but then they'll ship it the next day.

Extended warranties are available, but that's one big advantage to the Latitudes - they come with a 3 year warranty standard, while the Vostro and Inspiron come with 1 year. They're all upgradable, though.
