I have noticed the resemblance before but Tomlin is way cooler! :D

Omar Epps was in a great little film called In Too Deep. He played an undercover that had to go deeper undercover than normal to try and best LL Cool J. It was a good movie for what it was. And yeah - very close resemblance.
