i just heard that the Detroit Lions team has been told to ride Bicycle's to next sundays game. they were informed today there not going to get the pro treatment there use to for there final game of the season. and if they loose that game they will all have to walk home 0-15 right now is just not acceptable.and 0-16 what more can be said if they loose next week.:stupid:

I don't really follow NFL too much, so therefore I have to ask -- has there ever been 0-16 records before?

I don't believe any team has gone 0-16 yet. The Buccaneers went 0-14 when it was still a 14 game season.
There were a few 1-15 records though:
1980 New Orleans Saints
1989 Dallas Cowboys
1990 New England Patriots
1991 Indianapolis Colts
1996 New York Jets
2000 San Diego Chargers
2001 Carolina Panthers
And some teams had winless seasons before the 70s. I believe it was only like an 11 game season or something close to that.

No team has ever gone 0-16. After today's loss, the Lions become the first team to ever start the season 0-15. Tampa Bay is the only team to ever go winless in a season but the schedule was only 14 games at the time.

...and there's no WAY they'll win next week, so we have a totally winless season virtually LOCKED IN!
Last time the Lions won against Green Bay IN Green Bay was ...1991? It was a long time ago, anyway.
I believe in January they'll be offering both the Lions and Chrysler Corp in a package deal on ebay - bidding starts at $1

Never say never. Green Bay has looked far from impressive down the stretch. With the exception of Sunday's game, the Lions have actually looked decent the last few weeks.
