Any Benefit to Running Two Geforce 7950 GT's?

Currently running one XFX 7950GT w/512MB on a Dell 30" monitor connected to a AMD AM2+ 6000 CPU with 4GB RAM. Is there any benefit to to adding a second connected video card (same card x2) with the SLI enabled? Thanks

Sure, if you want higher FPS rates in 3D games

...but on a 7950GT, you won't get too much of an added speed boost -- especially at 2560x1600.

I don't game but do use the computer for Photoshop CS4, LR2 and TV watching.

I already have the card -- it's been sitting unused -- so I may just benchmark, install and re-test for shiggles. Thanks for your replies!

If you don't game, there is absolutely no point in adding a second 7950GT -- unless you run more than 2 monitors.
