My friend wants to buy the Dell Vostro 1510 on the deal page. It will only be used for work, spreadsheets, Quicken, Quickbook software ect.. The computer comes with this processor... Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5670 (1.8GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB) for $75 more the processor is Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5870 (2.0GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB).
Is it worth the difference, will it be noticeable?

tell him to save the $75 bucks. if its light on ram have him get a bit more with the $$$$ saved there he may see a improvement.

I agree with the others.... don't waste the money on the slight CPU upgrade. Buy more ram (or a larger hard drive, if it's got less than 200GB of storage) first.
