My new system is finally running :)

I suppose for me, "finally" refers to not having a system for 2 days. Anyways, here it is!

AMD Phenom 9950
MSI DKA790GX
MSI 8600 GT (hope to get a 4xxx series card again eventually)
2 GB Corsair
Zalman 9700 (and about a dozen new cuts on my hands from installing it).
HUGE 80 gig IDE drive

I'm definitely appreciating the CPU. I'd sold my system and got a cheaper one to get some money in December, so they system I was using was a 939 AMD 3800. It's a lot easier to Alt-tab between games, which would lock up my other computer.

glad it all worked out for you nate. nice to see a system turn out ok. as i have no idea how to do that yet :(
