Yes. I'm on S7 and still learning the ropes... This is my first game. So far my population is 155. Survived first week without beginners protection.

It really helps to grow your city faster when you complete all of the tasks. (just click on the Roman Dude on the Right hand Side)

I signed up for this last night but when I tried to go in tonight it doesn't recognize my user name. It allowed me to sign up again using the same info. If you sign out do you lose everything you had so far? I don't leave my computer running all the time so it would suck if you lose everything when you sign out.

it saves it....I have had trouble getting there from other links....but if you use the link above with your password, I think it should get you back in every time.

actually, i found out that if you type in travian.com, it'll do that, but if you type, travian.us, it won't.

The .us servers are for USA basically only, and almost seem Sim-City like in thier runs...

If you want 24x7 gameplay and massive players and usage, then try the international or .com servers.

There are plenty of tools for the advanced players, just remember this: If you really want to be a player, you need the 9 and 15 crop lands and to be able to hold them. Teamwork and guilds are nearly a MUST if you don't want to be squished into the dirt.

Anyone make it out of Begginners protection yet?

I made it past the beginners protection I think mostly because people can't attack you while you are under it. Be prepared to be farmed regularly.
I have gotten fed up and am ready to quit.

lol don't fret steveb. if you played on the 3x server, you'd feel better in retrospect. it definitely helps to join a good guild in your area, make friends, and make sure you keep your troops out of town when they attack or send it to an ally.

Area 4 is probably a good area to start in right now.

kinda quiet....altough there has been random visits of some giant hoards coming in from more developed zones.

I didn't give up and am still playing. I am in an alliance now and doing well. It takes patience to play. I tend to run low on resources and have to wait to build them up to build more or upgrade. Other than that it's a pretty good game.
