University of MD to show a porno

My alma mater is going to show a porno on campus. $4 tickets. In case you're wondering it's Pirates 2. Classy. :cheers: I wonder if this will catch on to other schools.

Once a year campus productions would put on an all-nighter type event that would include things like a "casino" (real games, fake money, but with an auction for prizes held at the end of the night using said fake money), various other amusements, and free movies all night, either in the auditorium or out on a quad somewhere. The movies were almost always porno. And this was back in '94, '95 or so.

They cancelled it. Folded like a wet taco when a little pressure was put on by the state legislature. MD is a lame college (sorry MCS) if they thought that something like this was acceptable or would really "give people something else to do other than drinking". Tools!

meh. MD has changed since I graduated. They used to be a good value for education and when they were named as such they started to raise tuition. I think ever since they won the NCAA title several years ago they got a big head and decided they should charge like a big league school. meh.
